Patrick Taylor Cottage Museum

PT13 300x211This eleven room wattle and daub home is the oldest surviving dwelling in Western Australia.
The cottage is the pride and joy of the Albany Historical Society and a must-see attraction.
Built circa 1832, the cottage consists of an entry, boxroom, parlour, nursery, bedroom, dining room, family room, sewing room, kitchen, laundry and side verandah. Many beautiful artefacts, covering several eras, are displayed in the various rooms.
The cottage is surrounded by a neat English cottage garden.

Denmark Animal Farm & Pentland Alpaca Stud, Denmark, WA

Pentland Alpaca FarmWe are open every day from 10am to 4pm.  Koalas are fed at 10am daily which is the best time to catch them awake, and visitors can get up close to them for photos and to pat them.
 
At 3pm each day we have bottle feeding of the farm babies -- which is currently four kangaroo joeys, Penelope the piglet, Dougall the Scottish Highland calf and 8 lambs and goats.  Children (and adults) can participate with this and feed the babies with the bottles.
 
Admission prices are $14 for adults, $12 for Seniors, $7 for children and $45 for 2 adults and 3 children.
