Green’s Pool is a protected swimming area famous for its white sand and turquoise water, located within William Bay National Park, 18km west of Denmark on the South Coast Highway.
Granite boulders and rocky shelves extend for 100m out to sea along the coast between Green’s Pool and Madfish Bay. Sheltered pools, channels and granite terraces inside the reef create a fascinating seascape for beachcombing. A reef protects Greens Pool, creating plenty of rock and beach fishing vantage points.
A short walk to the Elephant Rock is worthwhile for beautiful scenery and more excellent fishing. Madfish Bay is another great place to try your luck, its crystal clear waters offer a variety of fish including King George whiting, silver bream, salmon, skippy and herring.
The area’s granite formations are best viewed from the nearby lookout at Tower Hill.
