Because of the conquests that the Romans made, Latin became the international language of Europe and parts of Africa in the Middle Ages, and was an important feature of the education of the middle and upper classes in Europe until after the middle of the twentieth century.
As a result, English grammar and vocabulary are influenced by Latin constructions and words, and Latin words and phrases often still part of the standard English now.
After some of these things have been demonstrated, there will be a short description of Ancient Greek which had a strong influence of the development of Latin, and a demonstration of the features of its alphabet.
