The Birthday Paradox

The Birthday Paradox (Also known as the Birthday Problem) explains the chance of two people within a given group sharing the same birthday.
Scenario: 23 people in a room, there is a 50% chance that two of these characters share the same birthday. Now put 57 people in a room, we now have a 99% chance that two of these characters share the same birthday.
We expect probabilities to be completely linear and only consider the scenarios we're involved in. This is why we call it a "Paradox" because our brains can't handle the compounding power of exponents.
