National Green Jobs Corp and Worklink have an exciting new project that gives young people aged 17-24 the chance to take part in 6 month projects that builds skills and help the environment. It also provides the chance to work and learn as part of a team.
Projects may include planting trees, conducting wildlife surveys, building walking tracks or helping the community find ways of saving energy. Our current project provides FREE accredited training (CERT II in Horticulture) in skills that can be used straightaway.
The National Green Jobs Corps is a part-time, voluntary program that requires just 25 hours per week for 26 weeks but could open doors to a career in environmental work, local government, construction and many other areas.
