TORBAY, including ELLEKER, BORNHOLM and YOUNGS SIDING
Torbay is the name given to the scenic area between Albany and Denmark which encompasses Elleker, Bornholm and Youngs Siding as well as the actual Torbay locality.
Whether you are just travelling through, via Lower Denmark Road, or staying here in motel, bed and breakfast, self contained chalet or cottage accommodation, this is a beautiful area with much to see and do. |

The earliest settlers in the area farmed near Youngs Siding and Marbelup Farm on Wilson Inlet is one of the oldest farming properties in WA. Much of the area was developed for the timber trade, commencing in 1885.
Torbay has always been a key fishing centre. Fishing camps still operate seasonally at Cosy Corner and Shelley Beach. In earlier days whaling also took place at Torbay; today these gentle giants can be seen off shore during the season. |

We hope you will take the time to visit and explore this beautiful and interesting area. For a relaxing holiday, pristine beaches, or a bushwalking adventure and much more - Torbay has something for all the family to enjoy.
