ALBANY
	The Gap and Natural Bridge Location:  Torndirrup National Park, Frenchman Bay Road. Distance from Town Centre: 15km Facilities: Viewing platform with guard rail. The Gap and Natural Bridge are fine examples of how beautiful and rugged our coastline is.  Waves pound into the Gap and, on rough days, spray rises up over the top. Visitors should take care as our coastline is very unpredictable and dangerous.  Always stay on the paths and within guard-rails.
	The Blowholes Location:  Torndirrup National Park, Frenchman Bay Road. Distance from Town Centre: 17km Facilities: Path and steps down to Blowholes (approx 20min walk) The Blowholes are best seen on rough days, when the holes really do blow.  Don't stand too close to them though because the noise might cause a fright!  Remember to be careful on the coast as it is unpredictable and dangerous.
	Stony Hill Heritage Trail Location:  Torndirrup National Park, Frenchman Bay Road. Distance from Town Centre: 18km A medium 500m, 15 minute walking circuit to lookouts over the highest point in the park with magnificent 360º views.
	Jimmy Newhill's Inlet Location:  Torndirrup National Park, Frenchman Bay Road. Distance from Town Centre: 18km An easy 100m, 6 minute return walk to a lookout over this magnificent 'secret' haven.
	Goode Beach Location: Frenchman Bay Road Distance from Town Centre: 23km Facilities: Toilets. A magnificent white sandy beach with glistening blue/green water.  A perfect family swimming beach during the warmer months. During summer, when the prevailing winds are easterly, the wind-surfing is great.
	Frenchman Bay Location: Frenchman Bay Road Distance from Town Centre: 21km Facilities:  Toilets, barbeques, tables and benches. One of the most popular family beaches on the south coast.  The bay is very sheltered and the water is almost always calm. The beach is backed by grassed areas perfect for picnics.
	Fisheries Beach Location: Frenchman Bay Road, Torndirrup National Park Distance from Town Centre: 20km Another beautiful beach in the Torndirrup National Park offering white, sandy beaches in a protected bay.  There is very good fishing from the rocks on the eastern side.  The western side of the beach is used as a nudist beach - for those with olive skin!
Photo and information courtesy of Rob Daniel	Salmon Holes Beach Location: Follow signs off Frenchman Bay Road, Torndirrup National Park Distance from Town Centre: 23km A steep climb down (and then back up!) wooden steps to the beach reveals an excellent view of the coastline and access to a sheltered little pool.  This beach is a very popular surf and fishing beach. Again, remember to be careful on this coast.
	Middleton Beach Location: Flinders Parade Distance from Town Centre: 3km Facilities: Surf Life Saving Club, toilets, changerooms, showers, playground, cafes. Middleton Beach is probably the most popular beach in Albany.  With a wide variety of accommodation nearby, it is an excellent and popular holiday location.
	Emu Point Location: Emu Point Road which becomes Mermaid Avenue. Distance from Town Centre: 6km Facilities: Shop, playground, toilets and changerooms. This fantastic sheltered beach is perfect for a family gathering.  The warm shallow waters make it safe for all ages to enjoy the water. Another popular holiday location, especially with families.
	NANARUP & TWO PEOPLE'S BAY

Nanarup Beach, past the turn off to Two Peoples Bay is a popular surfing and fishing beach, with a sheltered pool at the western end offering safe swimming.

Take the bush track at the far end of Little Beach and squeeze through the gap in the rocks. Distance from Town Centre: 30km east of Albany Facilities: Car parking, toilets, barbecues, no drinking water (take your own).

Distance from Town Centre: 30km east of Albany Facilities: Toilets, barbecues, no drinking water (take your own). A beautifully sheltered and a magnificent swimming beach. Walk to the end of Little Beach and a small bush track will take you to Waterfall Beach.

Distance from Town Centre: 40km east of Albany Facilities: Toilets, barbecues, no drinking water (take your own). Two Peoples Bay faces east and lies between the granite massifs of Mount Gardner and Mount Manypeaks. The high rocky hills around Mount Gardner form a headland on the south side of the bay, protecting it from the heavy Southern Ocean swells. There is also a fantastic walk on the Two Peoples Bay Heritage Trail - a one hour stroll over the headland and along the beach.
	CHEYNES BEACH
	Cheynes Beach, Waychinicup National Park Location: Travel out Chester Pass Road, then turn off onto Hassel Highway at Bakers Junction. Turn right onto Cheynes Beach Rd. Distance from Town Centre: 66km east of Albany - 45 min drive Facilities: Caravan Park
	BREMER BAY
	Bremer Beach Location: Bremer Road, Bremer Bay Distance from Town Centre: 1.5km Facilities: Caravan Park, Hotel, Holiday Units Located on a huge sand bar, Bremer Beach is a pristine white sandy beach, perfect for swimming and fishing.

	TORBAY
	Lowlands and Anvil Beaches Location: Lowlands Rd, off Lower Denmark Road, Torbay Distance: 39km from Albany, 30km from Denmark View the spectacular coastal scenery at Lowlands and Anvil Beaches.
	Shelley Beach Location: Cosy Corner Road, off Lower Denmark Road, Torbay Distance: 33km from Albany, 30km from Denmark Watch hanggliding and parasailing at Shelley Beach in the West Cape Howe National Park. This is one of the best locations for this exciting sport in the Southern Hemisphere.

	DENMARK
	Wilson Inlet Location: Denmark Distance from Town Centre: 2km One of the largest inlets on the South Coast, Wilson Inlet is a haven for sailing, fishing and swimming.  Good fishing spots abound. Look forward to catching King George whiting, small snapper, flathead and cobbler.
	Ocean Beach Location: Ocean Beach Road, Denmark Distance from Town Centre: 3km Ocean Beach is a popular surfing beach and is the location of the Denmark Surf Lifesaving Club. The beach is patrolled in summer and also provides a good swimming area.
(Photo and information courtesy of the CALM National Parks website)	Greens Pool and William Bay Location: South Coast Highway to William Bay Road in the William Bay National Park, West of Denmark Distance from Town Centre: 18km from Denmark Facilities: Toilets Granite boulders and rocky shelves extend for 100 metres out to sea along the coast between Greens Pool and Madfish Bay. Sheltered pools, channels and granite terraces inside the reef create a fascinating seascape for beachcombing. A reef protects the Greens Pool area and there are plenty of rock and beach fishing vantage points. A short walk to Elephant Rock is worthwhile for beautiful scenery and more excellent fishing. Madfish Bay and Waterfall Beach are two other great places to try your luck. The crystal clear waters offer a variety of fish including King George whiting, silver bream, salmon, skippy and herring.
