SUMMER (December to February)	Ideal for water based activities such as swimming, surfing, sailing and fishing.
AUTUMN (March to May)	A time of warm sunny days, cool evenings and calm seas. In the inland rural areas farmers are gearing up for the planting of cereal crops and there is much activity in the fields.

SPRING (September to November)	Heralds the peak of our wildflower season when the region comes alive in a blaze of colour. The national parks are perhaps the best viewing areas although visitors will see a large variety growing along the roadsides throughout the Great Southern.
