LABOUR HIRE & TEMPORARY SERVICES

We offer very competitive rates for temporary staff.  To make your paperwork easy, you pay us one account per fortnight.

What do you Pay?
You pay an hourly rate.  It can be based on a 38 or 40 hour week or it can be a flat rate!

 

When you don’t pay?
If your employee is permanent you don’t pay the hire fee when the employee is on annual leave, sick leave, on public holidays and workers’ compensation.

PERMANENT RECRUITMENT TERMS OF BUSINESS
Our fees and charges are for seeking, screening, interviewing and reference checking in accord with the client company's instructions.

Placement Fees
The maximum fee chargeable will be calculated as 3.5% of the first years gross salary including superannuation (this is a once only fee and not an annual charge).  Minimum fee $500.

Your 100% “No Risk” Guarantee
The “No Risk” guarantee period comes into effect for thirteen (13) working weeks from the commencement of the successful candidate’s employment with you.  If, for any reason, the successful candidate resigns or is terminated within the guarantee period and we are notified in writing within 7 days, Skill Hire will undertake to provide you a replacement at no extra charge if possible.

APPRENTICES & TRAINEES

Skill Hire will:

• Help you with relevant paperwork
• Ensure you receive your incentives
• Help with selection of suitable candidates
• Offer you free advice on procedure

An apprenticeship involves full time work with an employer who provides an opportunity to learn all aspects of a trade.  This is a structured program for a fixed period of time (usually four years) and while you learn on the job, you also attend off the job training at RTS, a TAFEWA college or another registered training provider.

You pay an hourly rate based on a 38 or 40 hours per week plus any ‘non cost’ penalties and allowances.

When Don’t You Pay?
You don’t pay the hire fee when the
 apprentice or trainee is:

Attending ‘off-the-job’ training, on annual leave,
sick leave, public holidays, inclement weather,
down time and workers’ compensation
