ArtsouthWA is an innovative, regional organisation promoting contemporary and traditional art and craft in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. Membership includes regionally-based art and craft practitioners, commercial art and craft outlets and art organisations sharing an interest in the objectives of ArtsouthWA.
Important activites undertaken by ArtsouthWA include production of the Southern Regions Art and Craft Map, organizing the annual Southern Art & Craft trail and maintaining two websites, a database of its members and promoting its major annual event. It also conducts skill development workshops and activites for art and craft practitioners and supports its members by maintaining communication links with other cultural organisations. |
