THE BIBBULMUN TRACK

Opened in 1998, the award-winning Bibbulmun Track is one of the world's great long-distance walk trails, stretching nearly 1000 kms from Perth to Albany.
Signposted with the 'waugal' (rainbow serpent of the Aboriginal Dreamtime), the Track takes walkers through towering karri and tingle forests, through mist-shrouded valleys, over granite outcrops and along breathtaking coastal heathlands (via Torbay, Denmark and Walpole in the Great Southern region).
Suitable for people of all ages and levels of experience, you can join the Bibbulmun Track for just a few hours, a few days, or for an epic end-to-end journey of up to 8 weeks!
A wide variety of short walks, interpretive tours, extended trips, accommodation & walking packages and seminars, plus a free information service and merchandise sales is offered by the lively 'Friends of the Bibbulmun Track', a non-profit organization which helps promote and care for the Track.
Visit the Friends' comprehensive website for more information.
