Private Works The Shire's range of modern plant and equipment operated by trained and experienced staff, is available for private works hire. Current hire rates for graders, loaders, trucks, backhoe and other plant are available from the Shire Office.

Rubbish Removals Tuesday - househols and business premises for town residents is collected by Great Southern Waste Disposal who contract to the Shire of Tambellup.

Dog Registrations Dog registrations become due on 1 November each year. Unsterilised Dog / Bitch 1 year $30.00    3 years $75.00 Sterilised Dog / Bitch 1 year $10.00    3 years $18.00 Unsterilised Working Dogs 1 year $ 7.50     3 years $18.50 Sterilised Working Dogs 1 year $ 2.50     3 years $ 4.50 Pensioners are entitled to a 50% rebate on non working dogs.

Mosquito Control To assist in controlling mosquito's, the following preventative measures can be taken:- Ensure that educt vents to plumbing installation are fitted with a mosquito cowl; Remove all rubbish which may hold water from around the yard ie: old drums, tyres and disused containers; Ensure all gutters are clean; Ensure that water tanks have a properly fitted lid and treat water with paraffin or kerosene in sufficient quantity to provide a film of oil across the surface.

Local Newspaper The Tambellup Topics is produced monthly at the Tambellup Telecentre. Contributionscan be dropped into the Telecentre / Library.
