During the wildflower season Gnowangerup, and the Stirling Ranges are definately a place to visit. Many species of wildflowers, some endemic to the Stirling Ranges can be viewed around September and October each year.  Ongerup, 50km east of Gnowangerup, holds an annual wildflower show during this season.  All throughout the Great Southern Region, you will find a great and varies variety of wildflowers.......if you take the time to stop and discover......

The Mineral Springs, located near the Gnowangerup Swimming Pool, has given a constant supply of water since recorded history.   The springs was used for many years to fill the swimming pool which was opened in 1934.  The water has been used for stock water during dry years.
