Landcare is an important issue in the Frankland River Region. There are several groups involved in different aspects of care for, and protecting the land, as well as the native flora and fauna.

Frankland Nature Group A group of enthusiastic local people with an interest in local wildflowers, particulary orchids, which abound in the Frankland area. They meet regularly for bush walks and so far have counted 87 species of orchids and 357 species of other flowering plants in one bush block alone! Contact Jim & Eve Parry 9855 2295
