The NRM Officer, Glenn Williams, works with local farmers, catchment groups and Land Conservation Districts to promote sustainable land management.

Catchment Groups & LCDC's
The NRM Officer works with groups such as the Tunney Land Conservation District Committee and the Frankland Gordon Catchment Management Group and numerous smaller catchment groups within these.
We all live in a catchment and it is important for everyone in a catchment to work together to ensure that our resources are managed sustainably.
The Frankland Gordon Catchment covers 467,000 hectares and extends from Broomehill in the north to Walpole in the south. The Frankland Gordon Catchment Management Group are currently implementing a project to rehabilitate and restore over 2000 hectares in the catchment.
There are many other projects in the Cranbrook Shire which aim to protect our environment and promote sustainable farming practices.
