Historic & beautiful Albany Western Australia comes alive June "Foundation Day" long weekend (June 1st) when motor enthusiasts from around the world come to participate, or spectate with fellow tourists & locals at the "Oldest" and one of only 2 "Round the Houses - timed trials" in the centre business district. A must experience. See 180+ cars participate in 20 Events showcasing 28 cars per event . See it, breath it, enjoy it!
The annual Hill Climb on picturesque Mt Clarence Saturday 31st May 08 Come and visit "Amazing Albany" for this Classic Weekend.
“Amazing Albany” - The oldest settlement in Western Australia (1826) and The Birth of Round The Houses Motor Sports” (1936), this historic and picturesque City, 409km South of Perth with a Population in excess of 36,000, each year Re-Enacts the Regularity Timed Trial Event of ROUND THE HOUSES MOTOR RACING.
Albany and surrounding areas are heavily booked as VISITORS come from far and near to join with the LOCAL enthusiasts to enjoy this action packed celebration of this MOTOR SPORTS Spectacular, viewed to be the most important date and location on the sporting calendar. |
