Albany Vintage & Classic Motorcycle Club

The Club was formed in 1999 to cater for the needs of local enthusiasts of Vintage and Classic bikes,
at present we have 96 members.

We are a group of people with a variety of motorcycles from the very old to the very new,
our interest is the restoration and enjoyment of all machines.

We wish to expand the interest in older bikes by encouraging younger members and we have no prejudice
about the year, size or make of motorcycle. We are a social club with an emphasis on enjoying ourselves with maximum participation by all members - family and friends are always welcome.

Clowning Around

The Albany Chapter of the Harley Owners Group comprises around 36 members, all being Harley Davidson motorcycles enthusiasts.

We are an independent club, affiliated with the Harley Owners Group (HOG) America, directly sponsored by the Harley Davidson Motor Company. Our local sponsoring dealer is Great Southern Motorcycles, Albany.

Our motto is “To Ride and Have Fun!” and that’s just what we do. With a monthly overnight ride and many other day rides (incl. Poker rides), we try to keep the Milwaukee Iron on the road and the thunder rolling. We also like to socialise, meet up and have a friendly chat at any other time.

We meet every first every first Thursday of the month at the King River Tavern, Albany, at 7.00 pm for a social sip and an informal meeting, come along and discuss your affinity with “the best motorcycle in the world”.

All our members also receive a quarterly international newsletter and a local one to keep them informed about what’s happening on the Harley scene.

See you on the road!

Local rides, weekends away and other social occassions are  regular events.
