Granite boulders and rocky shelves extend for 100 metres out to sea along the coast between Greens Pool and Madfish Bay. Sheltered pools, channels and granite terraces inside the reef create a fascinating seascape for beachcombing. A reef protects the Greens Pool area and there are plenty of rock and beach fishing vantage points. A short walk to Elephant Rock is worthwhile for beautiful scenery and more excellent fishing. Madfish Bay and Waterfall Beach are two other great places to try your luck. The crystal clear waters offer a variety of fish including King George whiting, silver bream, salmon, skippy and herring. |
