| Aphro the Greyhound |
Just before Christmas, I adopted a greyhound through Greyhound Angels. When I got her, she weighed less than 23kgs, and had no idea what it meant to be a dog. Almost 6 months on she weighs a healthy 26kgs, has learnt how to play with other dogs, developed a personality, and is one of the most loyal and loving dogs I could possibly ask for. Greyhounds are lovely animals, they are quiet, gentle, loyal and surprisingly very lazy! I would recommend the breed to anyone, and would love to see more of them around, rather than being put down when they retire from racing, or if they are too slow.

Jessie is a Kelpie that needs lots of room to run and plenty to keep her busy. Jessie was adopted by us at approx 18 months of age through the Friends of the RSPCA. She was very thin and nervous when we first got her. Watching her confidence and health grow has been a delight. Now she is a friendly, happy dog who loves to travel in the car wherever we go. After our old dog died, we missed her badly but didn't want the work involved in training a new puppy. Adopting Jessie was the perfect solution.

Our cat Moko has been missing for 3 days, he is generally a house cat. He is a large fluffy chocolate and cream seal point cat with blue eyes. He is very friendly and a much loved pet of two children.
