26th September	A group spotted from Marine Drive
20th September	2 Southern Rights at Flat Rock, Whale World. Later seen by Albany Whale Tours at Bald Head. The same two spotted in the afternoon by Silver Star Cruises at the HMAS Perth.

10th September		Humpbacks sighted at the HMAS Perth this morning.
7th September		2 Humpbacks at Michaelmas Island
5th September	1 Southern Right at the Mussel Lease, near the Two Sisters.	A few Humpbacks at Limestone Head
4th September	5 Southern Rights at the Channel Entrance
30th August		Two Humpbacks both juveniles seen inbetween Breaksea and Seal Island
27th August	Group seen at Mt Martin today
25th August	Gull Rock, one very large male - strange coloured markings, one female and several juveniles. One the way to Gull Rock, a breaching juvenile put on a show for those on board Albany Whale Tours.
24th August		Two Humpbacks at Two Sisters this morning, near Mistaken Island. Mother and baby. Also seen cruising at Seal Island.
23rd August	Two seen breaching off the HMAS Perth this afternoon, a treat for the tourists at Whale World.
22nd August	Group spotted at Michaelmas Reef, also at Nanarup Beach. On board the Albany Whale Tours visitors were privileged to see a curious Southern Right lay beneath and alongside the vessel for an hour and a half.
21st August	Six Southern Rights in the Middle of the Sound towards Harold Point		Gorgeous Juvenile Seal basking in the sun on the rocks at Whale World, later playing in the water just off shore. Diners in the Cafe had a great view of the seal frolicking about in the water.
20th August	Few seen breaching at the back of Flat Rock, Whale World in the afternoon.
19th August	2 Southern Rights in the Sound, a pregnant mother appearing to be sick.	1 Humpback in the Sound, breaching near Limeston Head.
18th August	The end of Gull Rock were two Southern RIghts playing around the vessel.	1 Humpback in the King George Sound.	A pod of Dolphins spotted by the Albany Whale Tours on thier way back to docks.
17th August	4 Southern Rights at Gull Rock
16th August	2 Southern Rights frolicking around the HMAS Perth, sighted off Whale World.	1 juvenile Humpback delighting the guests on board Albany Whale Tours.
14th August	Southern Right mother and calf sighted at Whale World, visitors on board the Silver Star and Albany Whale Tours were treated to a delightful and curious pair.	Four Humpbacks cruising mid sound.

8th August		9 Humpbacks breaching, putting on a spectacular display for Albany Whale Tours west of Michaelmas Island, one followed the vessel back to Whale World, curious.

4th August	A White Southern Right calf playing with its mum between Gull Rock and Nanarup Beach.	2 near Mistaken Island, 2 more at Breaksea Island	Seals on Seal Island, Dolphins at Limestone Head.

2nd August		2 Humpbacks near Mistaken Island and 2 more at Limestone Head.	Dolphins playing around the Sail-A-Way

22nd July	3 Southern Rights in the sound today, spy hopping at Albany Whale Tours	1 Humpback in the channel entrance	Whales seen breaching by Goode Beach residents, on Saturday afternoon, unsure of which type.
21st July	2 Southern Rights and 1 calf spotted at Marine Drive, also 2 spotted at Emu Point
19th July		2 or 3 humpbacks spotted at Cable Beach, herding a school of fish. They were then seen offshore by visitors at the Gap.
18th July		1 lone Humpback at Michaelmas Reef
17th July		2 Humpbacks in the King George Sound, 1 heading towards Seal Island, the other towards Gull Rock
15th July		3 Humpbacks all breaching near Bald Head
14th July		Albany Whale Tours experienced a remarkeable sight, two Humpbacks breaching together past Bald Head.
13th July		Juveniles at Seal Island, Humpback spotted at Breaksea Island by Albany Whale Tours.
12th July		Two Humpbacks in the harbour, also another two breaching near Breaksea Island. Humpacks entering the King George Sound, visible at Princess Royal Drive
11th July		Four juveniles, two at Limeburners Head and two at Middleton Beach.
10th July		Three Humpbacks off Middleton Beach and two Humpbacks off Mistaken Island.
9th July		2 groups of 4 humpbacks in the King George Sound	Seals and Dolphins in King George Sound.
6th July		Group of 4 Humpbacks visible from Princess Royal Drive, Middleton Beach.
5th July		3 Adults at Seal Island, highly visible from Whale World.
4th July		2 possibly 3 Humpbacks breaching in between Michaelmas Island and Limestone Head. Also found breaching at Limeburners head.
1st July		3 Humpbacks at Limestone Head
29th June			False Killer Whale found dead at Brambles Beach, Quaranup by the Dept of Environment and Conservation. Died of Toxaemia, blood poisoning from bacteria in the wound, caused by a rope caught around and severing the fin.
28th June		2 groups of 2 humpbacks seen betwen Breaksea Island and Seal Island	False Killer Whale sighted by Albany Whale Tours near Quaranup, reported to Department of Environment and Conservation. Swimming very slowly, also had a badly damaged fin.
27th June		Juvenile humpback breaching at Breaksea Island
25th June		1 juvenile Humpback seen by Silver Star at the back of the islands in the King George Sound, this humpback was very docile, also with unusual amount of white markings.
22nd June		Pod of an amazing 30 Humpbacks spotted at Parry's Beach, between Denmark and Walpole, spotted by a visitor to the region.
21st June		2 Humpbacks spotted in the Princess Royal Harbour, at the same time 2 Humpbacks spotted cruising past Whale World heading to Limestone Head
20th June		3 Humpbacks on north side of King George Sound, also one lone Humpback at Goode Beach
18th June		up to 10 Humpbacks entered the King George Sound, in between Breaksea Island and Seal Island, headed in towards Middleton Beach area.
17th June		2 Humpbacks at Limestone Head	Dolphins also playing with these Juvenile Humpbacks
15th June		Around 5pm 2 Humpbacks spotted in the King George Sound in between Breaksea Island and Seal Island.
14th June			Pod of Dolphins frolicking around the waters of Whale World
12th June		2 Humpbacks spotted at Breaksea Island at 3pm, heading towards Seal Island, then were seen at Mistaken Island where they rested for a few hours at dusk.
11th June		2 Humpbacks breaching off Breaksea Island, putting on a spectacular show in the morning. 2 were spotted at Whale World very close to the Breakwater at 5pm heading to Bald Head. 2 more Humpbacks further out were heading into Frenchman Bay.
7th June		Two were spotted cruising past Whale World, Flat Rock heading towards Bald Head.
16th May		1 Lone Humpback cruising through Flat Rock and Seal Island, heading towards Bald Head.
4th May			Pod of Dolphins with one baby playing at Goode Beach, very close to shore.

16th August			An unusual sighting - a small penguin was seen at the Salmon Holes.
15th August			Dolphins seen feeding in front of whaleworld and 2 whales also seen
14th August	Two mothers and two calves, Middleton Beach, one mother and a calf entering Princess Royal Harbour
13th August	Two and a calf sighted from Griffiths Street, very active, waving flippers
11th August		3 Humpbacks swimming past Whale World heading towards Michaelmas Island
9th August	Mother and Calf sighted at Goode Beach	1 Humpback sighted at Whale World swimming towards Michaelmas Island
7th August		Pod of Humpbacks swimming through fairly swiftly at Whale World.
6th August	7 to 8 sighted in the King George Sound, also another six just off the breakers at Nanarup.  Mother and Calf sighted at Goode Beach once again.	Albany Whale Tours came across a group of Humpback Whales.
5th August	14 Southern Right Whales spotted by Albany Whale Tours	5 Humpbacks spotted by Albany Whale Tours	Dolphins and seals spotted by Albany Whale Tours. One seal torpedoing over and around a Southern Right Adolescent, which was rolling upside down in the calm water. Purely amazing.
4th August		2 Humpbacks frolicking around Flat Rock at Whale World. They are putting on a spectacular display for all visitors, tail slapping and diving.
3rd August	Southern Right Mother and Calf at Middleton Beach		Large group of Whales just off the Breakwater at Whale World, type unsure, probably Humpbacks with also Dolphins swimming with them.
2nd August		Large pod of Humpbacks swimming through King George Sound spotted off Whale World
30th July	The same Southern Right mother and Calf in Goode Beach, have been here for a few days, playing right in the cove, just off the rocks. Found a lovely spot to shelter. A lone Southern Right made its way into Goode Beach also, further along from the mother and calf. Southern right spotted at Whale World heading towards Bald Head.
29th July	Four Southern Rights - 1 large, 2 adolescents and one calf near Middleton Beach. Southern Right Mother and Calf in Goode Beach, very close to shore. Another Southern Right and new born calf  in the protected area of Cheynes Beach, has stayed close to shore for the last couple of days.	3 Humpbacks diving for long periods in the King George Sound. Numerous pods of Humpback Whales performing all day at Cheynes Beach.	Large pods of Dolphins surfing up a storm at Cheynes Beach.
26th July	Three adolescents totally oblivious of Albany Whale Tours, found near the Golf links in Middleton Beach.		Pods of Dolphins swimming just off the shore at Whale World, right in front of Whalers Galley Cafe'. An extra special moment for the early birds.
25th July	Mother and calf in King George Sound Pods of Humpbacks at Cheynes Beach.
23rd July	Southern Right mother and calf sheltering in the protected waters of Goode Beach and Mistaken Island. A half grown Southern Right playing by Limestone Head. In the afternoon, another Southern Right spotted at Middleton Beach and Gull Rock.
22nd July	Three mothers and calves found in the protected waters of Limestone Head and the Vancouver Peninsula.
21st July	Southern Right cow and calf in calmer waters near the Breakwater at Whale World. Mother is keeping the calf protected from the fierce weather conditions present today.
20th July	Mother and Calf seen at Whale World, been coming back to the same spot for the last couple of days, its very protected in the area off Whale World. The calf was lying on its back for quite a while with its flippers up in the air as if it was sunbaking its under belly.
19th July	Mother and calf gracefully frolicking around Whale World for a number of hours, suckling and playing. So close we could have stepped off the deck onto the whale. 1 lonely adolescent in the King George Sound.	Humpback spotted in the Ataturk Channel.
18th July	6 Southern Right Whales also in the King George Sound.	Mother and Calf sighted at Cheynes Beach, tail slapping and spying by poking their heads out of the water.	Pods of Dolphins seen at Cheynes Beach surfing through the waves
17th July	4 Southern Right Whales in the King George Sound	3 Humpbacks seen swimming around Whale World all through the day, heading out to Bald Head then returning into the Harbour.	The Hot Spots at the moment are Ledge Beach and Gull Rock, mothers and calves sighted (Southern Rights)
16th July	4 Southern Right Whales in the Sound, Mother and calf found at the Western end of Princess Royal Harbour		Whale sightings off Whale World, type unknown.
15th July	Mother teaching her calf how to breach, explosive bursts again and again.
14th July	Mother and Calf playing vigorously in the Harbour.
13th July	Mother and Calf in Princess Royal Harbour. Albany Whale Tours had the rare opportunity of seeing the mother nudge the calf out of the water as if to say look at my beautiful baby.
12th July		3 Humpbacks spotted by Whale World staff in King George Sound towards Michaelmas Island.
11th July		1 lone Humpback moving swiftly to open sea, spotted at Whale World heading towards Bald Head.
10th July			Too fierce of weather for any Whale Watching cruises. A breaching whale spotted in Princess Royal Harbour, type unknown.
9th July	Southern Right Mother and Calf  in Princess Royal Harbour, found near the wool stores for protection against fierce stormy weather conditions.
7th July	A lone Southern Right spotted off the shore of Whale World near Flat Rock.
26th June	Whale and Calf sighted at Middleton Beach
25th June	A number were sighted at Middleton Beach and Emu Point		Breaching, performing, the whales could also be sighted from Marine Drive lookout.

12th October			A stranded Minke Whale found on the Southern shore of Princess Royal Harbour. With help from CALM the whale was freed and was last seen making its way into deeper waters in King George Sound.
11th October	Cow and calf sighted at the entrance of Princess Royal Harbour then later was seen off Mistaken Island heading towards Bald Head.
10th October	1 Southern Right Whale seen from Marine Drive breaching in the middle of King George Sound.
9th October	1 Southern Right cow and 2 calves. Location unknown, spotted by Air.	A young Humpback found interacting with a Southern Right. Location unknown, spotted by Air.	3 deceased Sperm Whales found on the coast of Augusta. One dead Southern Right Calf deceased at Bremer Bay. All whale sightings were spotted by Air.
8th October	Southern Right cow and calf first spotted by air at Ledge Beach, then sighted by Silver Star Cruises at the Emu Point Channel.
7th October		3 Humpbacks sighted at the end of the channel heading south to Whale World. A yearling sighted which is very unusual being so late in the season.
3rd October	1 lone Southern Right Whale, location unknown.		Pods of Bottlenose Dolphins
22nd September	1 Southern Right Whale breaching between the Islands, headed towards Breaksea Island
1st September	Mother and calf near the entrance of Princess Royal Harbour

11th August		1 Yearling Humpback off Breaksea Island. 12-14 Humpbacks in seperate pods heading towards Breaksea Island and Bald Head.
10th August	1 Southern Right Whale at the Northern end of Middleton Beach, heading out towards Princess Royal Harbour.	Found the Humpback Calf that was freed from the Mussel lease, mother and calf doing fine.
9th August		6 to 8 Humpbacks travelling west along the Northern side of Breaksea Island.
8th August		2 Humpbacks travelling from Seal Island towards Limestone Head. Also spotted 1 yearling.
7th August		3 Humpbacks travelling South east of Bald Head. 2 Humpbacks sighted off Break Sea Island heading towards Bald Head.
6th August	1 Southern Right at Seal Rock.
5th August		1 Humpback Cow and Calf, the calf got caught up in the Mussel lease nets which was spotted at 9.45am, the CALM Whale Rescue team sent down from Perth released the calf at 6.45 pm.
4th August		3 yearlings travelling towards Limestone Head and Breaksea Island.
3rd August		1 yearling at Whale World and 2 Adults heading into King George Sound from the Islands.
2nd August		1 yearling heading east from Limestone Head.
30th July		4 Humpbacks at Whale World and Frenchman Bay, heading towards Limestone Head. 1 Humpback travelling into King George Sound, breached for those passengers on board the Silver Star Cruise.
29th July		5 Humpbacks in Princes Royal Harbour.
28th July		2 Humpbacks at Michaelmas Reef going towards Mistaken Island.
27th July		1 Humpback at Limestone Head breaching.
24th July		8 to 10 Humpbacks heading into Frenchman Bay.
23rd July		6 Humpbacks traveling over Michaelmas Reef and heading towards Bald Head.

14th July		2 Humpbacks between the Islands, 1 yearling traveling along the northern side of Breaksea Island . 2 Humpbacks travelling towards Limestone Head.
12th July		2 yearlings around Breaksea Island and 1 yearling found at the entrance of Princess Royal Harbour.
11th July		1 Humpback between Michaelmas Island and Breaksea Island	Several pods seen from Marine drive, 1 pod breaching 5 or 6 times within the hour.
10th July	Southern Right cow and calf in Princes Royal Harbour.	1 yearling between Michaelmas and Breaksea Island. 10 Humpbacks at Limestone Head. 3 sighted at Seal Island.1 Humpback yearling at Flat Rock just off Whale World.
9th July		3 Humpbacks between the Islands travelling towards Seal Island to join up with another 3 Humpbacks. 2 Humpbacks at Michaelmas Island.
8th July		10 to 12 Humpbacks at Mistaken Island, traveling towards Marine Drive.
