Workshop

22 July 2008 (Start date) Certificate I or II in Active Volunteering

Enhancing Volunteering aims to present accredited training, to new, existing and potential volunteers, that will promote volunteering within the Great Southern as a positive and worthwhile practice.  It also aims to increase the retention of volunteers within agencies and attract new volunteers through best practice and national accreditation.

The course will be offered in a variety of modes including self paced and flexible learning (at a time, pace and environment that suits), to full facilitated classes.

Participants can complete a full Certificate I or II in Active Volunteering or choose individual units that are relevant.  The course includes units in effective volunteering, computing, OSH and retail as well as the popular Train the Treasurer.

An Information Session will be held on Friday 11 July from 9-11am at Worklink for anyone wanting to find out more, and the next course runs on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays starting 22 July.

For more information, or to book a place on this FREE course please contact Worklink on 98417741 or the Albany & Regional Volunteer Centre on 9841 3588, or visit us at Corner Aberdeen St and Serpentine Rd, Albany.
