5:30pm to 6:30pm: The British folksong transported to Australia. Danny Spooner's passion is the expression of British and Australian culture through folk music. In recent years he has sung at festivals, clubs and house concerts in Europe, England, Canada and the USA. Australia audiences have enjoyed his concert brackets, workshops and one-man shows for the last 40 years. He has a multi-disciplinary understanding of social history and his immense repertoire of songs cover the full range of human emotions, endeavours and experiences.

There is a Roast Chicken with Dessert meal between 6.30pm - 7.30pm. Bookings are essential. Riverview has a beautiful jarrah dance floor and we provide 2 separate floors, one for the old time / rock n roll and one for the linedancers. This is a licensed venue but the drinks are very reasonably priced and you can bring your own nibbles. A bottomless cup of tea/coffee for $1 is also available. For bookings please phone Robyn on 9844 7397. This is essential for catering purposes. It allows us to have a chair for everyone, even if you aren't having the meal. Come along for a great night of entertainment at Albany’s original Country Music Club.
